Job Title: Salesforce Administrator

Location: Remote (Preferred: Cincinnati, OH 45215)
Duration: 6 Months Initially

We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our team.

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of the Salesforce platform. This role involves ensuring secure user access, maintaining platform stability, implementing declarative solutions, and supporting business users across the organization. The Salesforce Administrator will work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Salesforce configurations while maintaining compliance, security, and overall system health. The ideal Salesforce Administrator has strong Salesforce administration expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving business processes through technology. The Salesforce Administrator will also support user adoption, training, and continuous platform enhancements to maximize business value.

Job Description

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for administering, configuring, supporting, and maintaining the Salesforce platform to ensure it remains secure, reliable, and aligned with business requirements. This role focuses on user management, declarative configuration, platform maintenance, security compliance, troubleshooting, and end-user support while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and system adoption.

Key Responsibilities User & Access Management

• Create, update, and deactivate Salesforce user accounts.
• Manage role hierarchy, profiles, permission sets, and user access.
• Maintain secure access aligned with business and security requirements.
• Enforce Salesforce security policies and access standards.
• Perform regular access reviews and user audits.

Salesforce Configuration & Customization

• Configure and maintain custom objects, fields, record types, and page layouts.
• Build and manage Lightning pages and Lightning components.
• Create and maintain validation rules, workflows, formulas, and declarative automation.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions using declarative tools.
• Support ongoing platform enhancements and configuration improvements.

Security & Compliance

• Configure object-level and field-level security.
• Maintain sharing rules and security settings.
• Support compliance audits and governance activities.
• Assist with security documentation and remediation efforts.
• Ensure platform compliance with organizational security standards.

System Administration & Maintenance

• Monitor Salesforce platform performance, storage, and system usage.
• Implement Salesforce seasonal releases and evaluate new platform features.
• Track user licenses, adoption metrics, and overall system health.
• Maintain platform stability, operational readiness, and data integrity.
• Identify opportunities for system optimization and continuous improvement.

End-User Support & Training

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot Salesforce-related issues.
• Manage user support tickets through successful resolution.
• Onboard new users and deliver Salesforce training sessions.
• Develop and maintain user guides, documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Promote Salesforce best practices and encourage platform adoption.
