Job Overview Our client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their TechOps Infrastructure team. In this role, you will architect, build, automate, and manage a Global Network Infrastructure spanning Datacenter and all three major public cloud providers. You will work in a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and have a significant impact on Federal development and hosting services running on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform Gov Clouds.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support all Network & Security Infrastructure running on AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure Clouds Ensure network stability and performance for On-Premises and Public Cloud networks Monitor the team's support queue, troubleshoot and diagnose problems, identify root causes of critical issues, and ensure corrective action is taken
Required SkillsX+ years of enterprise network engineering experience - architecture, design, and implementation at scale (Data Center / Public Cloud) Proficiency in at least one public cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (cloud networking certification is a plus) Deep understanding of networking technologies: IPv4/IPv6, BGP/MBGP, VPN, L2 Switching, VxLAN Understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols and Enterprise Network design (Data Center, Campus, Public Cloud, Global WAN)
Preferred SkillsHands-on experience with hardware vendors: Cisco IOS, NX OS, ASR, Meraki, Broadcom, Mellanox, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet Experience with Load Balancers: Citrix NetScaler, AVI Load Balancer, NGINX, HA Proxy Public Cloud Network Certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Location & Work ModelOnsite - Palo Alto, CA (HQ). This is a fully onsite position.
