Cordial at the Wharf, Southwest Washington’s premier fine wine and spirits retailer is growing! We are looking for engaging people focused on customer service. Our new shop features a selection of over 300 wines, 200 spirits and an ever-rotating selection of local beers, ciders and seltzers.

The ideal person for this role:
•  Can actively engage with customers
•  Sell a wide variety of products to our clientele
•  Build strong customer relationships
•  Enjoy talking and learning about adult beverages.
•  Has an active DC ABCA manager’s license (if you don’t, don’t worry – we’ll help you get one!)

At a minimum, you must:
•  Be at least 21
•  Qualify for an ABCA manager’s license
•  Be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
•  Stand for extended periods of time
•  Climb a ladder

In addition, our employees work the register, stock inventory, keep the store clean (including the bathroom), help with regular tastings and special events, and do the basic grunt work of keeping a store inviting and welcoming for our customers.

We are flexible with hours, but our priority is covering weekends and evenings. We offer competitive wages starting at $21 an hour depending on experience and a generous employee discount and a fun work environment right on DC’s exciting waterfront playground, the District Wharf!
