The Role - Lead medical quality, protocols, and standards across the hospital
- Mentor and develop veterinarians and support staff, fostering a positive, learning-focused culture
- Manage a varied caseload, including wellness, sick visits, dentistry, and soft-tissue surgery
- Utilize in-house lab and imaging to drive timely, accurate diagnostics
- Build lasting client relationships through clear communication and education
- Partner with leadership on scheduling, workflow, and continuous improvement to support work-life balance
Requirements - DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong clinical communication skills and a client-centered approach
- Proficiency in general surgery and dentistry preferred
- Prior leadership experience or a demonstrated interest in medical leadership
