Join a long-standing family-owned business as a TIG Welder, where you will become part of a team dedicated to producing custom electrical enclosure solutions. With over 50 years of experience, this company values craftsmanship and quality in serving clients across various industries, including material handling systems and building automation.

Responsibilities

• Polish, grind, and deburr finished products to ensure quality.
• Assist with welding tasks involving stainless steel, cold rolled steel, and occasionally aluminum using both MIG and TIG techniques.
• Operate hand and power tools efficiently to support production needs.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide fabrication processes.
• Ensure all welds are cleaned and polished to meet company standards.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques.
• Experience working with cold rolled, galvanized, stainless steel, and aluminum materials, specifically in 16g to 10g thickness.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Skillful use of hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication, grinding, polishing, and assembly.
• Capability to polish, grind, and deburr.

Work Environment

This position operates in a non-climate-controlled environment, with a first shift schedule from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role requires adherence to safety standards while working with various metals using specialized welding equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, TX.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Garland,TX.
