Schedule: School-Based | Daytime Hours
Pay: 35$-45$ per hour

At Care Options for Kids, our school-based Special Education Teachers play a critical role in creating inclusive learning environments where students with diverse needs can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. This role is designed for educators who are skilled, adaptable, and committed to meeting students where they are.
In this position, you‘ll adapt general education curriculum for students with mild to moderate disabilities while also delivering core academic and foundational instruction to students with more intensive needs. You‘ll collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to implement individualized strategies that empower every student to succeed.

Requirements
Experience as a Special Education Teacher
Bachelor‘s degree from an accredited college or university
Degree in Exceptional Student Education / Special Education preferred
Active General Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement in the state of [Insert State]
Strong organizational and instructional planning skills
Ability to adapt curriculum for diverse learning needs
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information
Reliable transportation, valid driver‘s license, and current auto liability insurance
