Senior Project Manager

Commercial Construction/General Contractor

Manhattan, New York

Salary Range: $175,000 – $200,000 + Bonus

A leading New York City General Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its Manhattan team.

The Senior Project Manager will play a key leadership role, managing multiple projects simultaneously while mentoring and guiding Project Managers across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and project teams
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership on project strategy and execution

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in construction project management, ideally in the NYC market
• Strong background working for reputable General Contractor or CM in the NYC market
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior PMs
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, and scheduling

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $175,000 – $200,000
