Title or Role: Reporting Engineer

Compensation: $175,000 + Bonus - commensurate with experience

Location: Denver, CO

Company Description: Our Client is an industrial-scale data center construction and operations company. They allocate data center opportunities between bitcoin mining and other high performance computing services, such as AI. They continue to develop there pipeline of power capacity at high-quality data center sites, either for bitcoin mining or HPC.

Position Description:

The Reporting Engineer will design, build, and maintain dashboards and performance reporting for the company's data center construction and development portfolio. This role ensures accurate, consistent, and timely project reporting from centralized data sources, providing a single source of truth for leadership decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain project and portfolio-level dashboards for schedule, cost, risk, procurement, and construction status.
  • Tailor reporting views for executive leadership, PMO, project teams, and finance.
  • Establish centralized data sources for all reports and define data ownership and validation rules.
  • Integrate and reconcile data inputs from various teams and external partners.
  • Define standard reporting formats, KPI definitions, and reporting cadence.
  • Collaborate with Cost Engineering to align financial data and maintain unified reporting outputs.
  • Perform data validation and improve dashboards based on feedback.
  • Resolve data conflicts and ensure reporting scales with project growth.

Qualifications:

  • 6–12+ years of experience in project reporting, controls, or analytics in engineering or construction data roles.
  • Experience supporting construction or infrastructure projects and multi-project portfolios.
  • Proficiency in building dashboards, executive reports, and KPI frameworks.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and visualization tools, Excel, and data modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills to work across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data center or mission-critical facility construction.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and construction cost systems.
  • Experience in lean or high-growth organizations.
  • Understanding of construction sequencing, cost behavior, and project execution.
