Our client operates refineries across the US, offering gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, specialty lubricant products, and specialty and modified asphalt.
They are seeking for a Material Coordinator in Anacortes, WA (contract position April - August 2026).
Responsibilities:
Understanding of plant policies, including escorting non-TWIC holders
Able to act as an equipment spotter for others using proper hand signals and best practices
Able to verify materials efficiently and at high accuracy rate
Able to complete Good Receipts efficiently and at high accuracy rate
Advanced ability to research Good Receipts Problems and discrepancies
Able to stage materials in Laydown Yard Manager (LDM) efficiently and at high accuracy rate
Able to issue materials out of inventory and Laydown Yard Manager (LDM) efficiently and at high accuracy rate
Advanced ability to research delivery errors and/or discrepancies
Able to assist plant personnel at the warehouse pickup window efficiently
Able to complete safety audits and equipment checkoffs
Basic understanding of Investment Recovery and organizing material returns
Advanced understanding of Turnarounds and Turnaround material management procedures
Advanced understanding of Projects and Projects material management procedures
Advanced ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and complete assigned material management projects
Able to manage all day-to-day warehouse activities efficiently and effectively
Able to manage and lead Material Management Projects and be accountable for timely completion
Able to led safety meetings, trainings, and staff meetings
Able to lead a team and be accountable for other Material Management contract personnel
Able to work independently or as part of a team with limited supervision
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of Material Coordination/Material Management experience.
Oil and gas and turnaround experience is preferred.
Compensation: Rate $35.00 - $37.00 hourly DOE
