Job Description

The Director of Corporate Engagement for Business Development will play a pivotal role in fostering new partnerships with major corporations in need of entry-level talent. This position involves securing work-based experiences for young adults through collaboration with high-profile Employers of Influence, capable of integrating numerous interns across various locations. The successful candidate will implement strategies dedicated to establishing these relationships, ensuring high-quality internship opportunities for students, and supporting their professional development. The position requires interaction with students in roles such as coach, group facilitator, and advocate to sustain an empowering educational environment. Responsibilities for this director role include managing a portfolio of target accounts, driving top-down sales, and reviewing monthly pipeline activities. The incumbent will exceed performance indicators like executive meetings, cross-selling opportunities, internship placements, and revenue generation. The director is expected to attend networking events, create compelling proposals showcasing past successes, and oversee client logistics. Maintaining relationships with industry leaders and strategic partners, while engaging C-level executives in various settings, is also essential. Ideal candidates should possess at least 10 years of professional experience in strategic account management or sales geared towards enterprise-level accounts. They should demonstrate success in generating leads, closing deals, and managing significant sales targets. Key qualifications include a consultative sales approach, proficiency in time management, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The role requires competencies in building meaningful relationships, managing projects, and leading teams.
