Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, high-agency Delivery Manager to join Lazer Commerce, our specialized division dedicated to crafting highly scalable, ultra-performant commerce experiences across the Shopify ecosystem. In this high-stakes consulting and execution track, you will lead the rollout of enterprise-grade eCommerce systems, own multi-million-dollar client accounts, and manage project portfolios end-to-end. Acting as the primary liaison between enterprise C-suite stakeholders and Lazer’s cross-functional product squads, you will drive headless architectures, steer platform migrations, and guarantee projects are delivered cleanly on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Client Relationship Governance: Serve as the premier single point of contact for corporate client accounts, maintaining close strategic alignment with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives to transform technical products into business growth engines.
• End-to-End Project Delivery: Manage full-lifecycle implementations for complex, headless Shopify Plus platforms, overseeing resource allocation, milestone tracking, budget utilization, and dependencies.
• Product Ownership & Backlog Management: Define product roadmaps, author comprehensive user stories, map functional specifications, and triage application bugs tightly alongside development, design, and QA engineers.
• Platform Migration Execution: Coordinate large-scale system transitions, migrating enterprise merchants seamlessly from legacy environments (such as Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or BigCommerce) over to Shopify Plus infrastructure.
• Third-Party Ecosystem Integration: Supervise the integration of core commerce infrastructure nodes, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Order Management Systems (OMS), and headless Content Management Systems (CMS) like NetSuite, Manhattan, or Sanity.
• Agile Delivery & Governance: Run cross-functional working groups, provide comprehensive transparent status reporting, manage operational risks, and champion Scrum or Kanban frameworks in an autonomous, fast-moving environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional tracking history operating as a Delivery Manager, Technical Product Owner, or Digital Project Manager with an absolute focus on enterprise eCommerce and retail systems.
• Extensive, in-depth architectural knowledge of the Shopify Plus ecosystem , including platform limitations, custom checkout liquid/app configurations, and backend integration pipelines.
• Proven background managing complex project portfolios and large budgets within high-velocity consulting, software agency, or startup structures.
• Master-level communication and presentation mechanics, with a native ability to articulate abstract cloud architecture constraints cleanly to non-technical business partners.
• Deep operational fluency leveraging Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) to streamline iteration sprint cycles.
• Outstanding conflict resolution and dispute negotiation skills, keeping a solution-oriented attitude under high-pressure delivery timelines.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

• Hands-on familiarity with headless commerce frameworks, GraphQL storefront APIs, or serverless deployment channels.
• Active, verified Shopify Certifications (e.g., Shopify Plus Development or Product Fundamentals badges).
• Familiarity navigating advanced Ashby ATS parsing mechanisms and an openness to utilizing cutting-edge AI orchestration tools to accelerate project planning.
