Salary: $135,874 - 200,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a masters degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, or a related discipline, plus 5 years of experience in the role offered or in a closely related position such as Data Scientist Lead, Data Scientist, Quantitative Finance/Risk, Data Engineer, or Software Engineer.
• We require 3 years of experience building statistical, time-series, or multivariate regression credit risk models.
• We require 3 years of experience with client behavior classification and scoring.
• We require 3 years of experience correlating data patterns to internal or external drivers.
• We require 3 years of experience using SAS, R, or Python for statistical modeling.
• We require 2 years of experience delivering analytical services and advisory consulting.
• We require 2 years of experience managing end-to-end data projects, including stakeholder requirement gathering and product adoption support.
• We require 2 years of experience presenting technical solutions and results to executive audiences using compelling visuals in PowerPoint, Tableau, or Qlik.
• We require 2 years of experience building and maintaining data workflow and process automation solutions using SAS or Alteryx on local or server-based environments.
• We require 2 years of experience querying large transactional and reference datasets using SQL on Oracle, Teradata, or AWS Redshift.
• We require 1 year of experience incorporating Generative AI into credit risk monitoring frameworks through AI and ML tools, prompt engineering, accuracy assessment, and LLM training for text categorization.
• We require 1 year of experience processing datasets through API calls for text categorization with AI and ML.
• We require 1 year of experience connecting client financial metrics with industry-specific economic drivers.
• We require experience authoring technical specifications for data architecture and technology deployment teams.
• We require experience writing white papers to document approach and results.
• We require experience meeting audit and regulatory standards for analytical or modeling solutions.
• We require experience implementing production solutions using Agile SDLC.
• We require familiarity with Atlassian collaboration tools such as Jira or Confluence.

• We will drive and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy for a commercial bank lending portfolio, aligning data science priorities with business goals to strengthen portfolio monitoring and support growth.
• We will advance next-generation data science capabilities using Generative AI and advanced analytics to improve surveillance of middle market companies and commercial real estate investors.
• We will act as a functional manager and subject matter expert on credit analytics processes and data products, ensuring they support business objectives.
• We will partner with senior stakeholders to understand management needs around portfolio monitoring and insight analysis.
• We will define requirements and shape analytics that inform risk strategy.
• We will lead end-to-end analytics initiatives, including monthly executive management reporting on credit portfolio health.
• We will translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• We will mentor and help guide a team of data scientists and analysts to strengthen technical expertise in credit analysis.
• We will oversee quality control efforts and ensure our analytics products meet standards for quality, consistency, and control.
