Job Description

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Interpret and utilize G Code or conversational programming to ensure accurate machining operations.
• Verify machine settings and part dimensions by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces.
• Monitor machining processes, detect malfunctions, and troubleshoot as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Adjust and reprogram controls, sharpen or replace worn tools, and follow quality assurance procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Document production activities, quality checks, and any irregularities to maintain clear communication across shifts.
• Complete production and quality logs accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and production rate standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC milling machines.
• Basic knowledge of G Code or conversational programming.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
• Effective communication skills and ability to document work clearly.
