Auto Mechanic

At zTrip, we're proud to be one of North America's leading transportation providers, helping thousands of passengers reach their destinations every day. We're looking for a skilled and dependable Auto Mechanic to help maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles.

In this role, you'll perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs to keep our vehicles running safely and efficiently. Your work will play a key role in keeping our drivers on the road and our customers moving.

What You'll Do as a Mechanic:

Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and preventative services
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Troubleshoot vehicle performance concerns and complete repairs efficiently
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability
• Identify and address issues before they become major repairs

Fleet Support

• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Ensure vehicles meet company safety standards
• Work with operations teams to prioritize repairs and reduce downtime
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
• Help ensure vehicles are ready for daily service

Qualifications of an Auto Mechanic:

• Previous experience as an Auto Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Fleet Mechanic, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, dependable, and safety-focused
• Valid driver's license required
• ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
