Salary: $109,200 - 127,200 per year Requirements:

• We require that you are currently enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program and are working toward a masters degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
• We need a solid academic foundation in highly scalable distributed systems.
• We expect experience writing Go, Python, or similar languages used in production environments.
• We require familiarity with Unix/Linux, SSH, and basic networking concepts.
• We need the ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• We prefer strong attention to detail and a drive to improve surrounding processes and systems.
• We value experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• We prefer hands-on exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• We value enthusiasm for self-driving technology and its broader impact.
• We prefer candidates who plan to return to their degree program after the internship.
• We prefer candidates graduating with a masters degree between December 2026 and June 2027.

• We will have you contribute improvements to our AV development toolchains and services that directly and measurably enhance engineering productivity and core business metrics.
• We will expect you to collaborate with senior engineers to identify pain points and implement solutions that are dependable, scalable, and maintainable.
• We will have you communicate your progress clearly and consistently.
• We will expect you to apply software engineering best practices within the team.

This hybrid internship is based in Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Austin, Detroit, Warren, or Milford, with up to three in-office days per week, and may be remote for candidates in the Seattle area.
